Some sad news to report, our good friend and longtime radio buddy, David Lee passed away on January 27th, 2024. David will be deeply missed. Andy Olson first met Dave at KSTM in Phoenix. They also worked together at KSLX, and KOOL-FM. David did the morning show at KDKB for a time in the late 80’s and worked at many other stations around the country. He worked with us at Radio Free Phoenix in 2021 and helped launch Deep Oldies as Landshark in the early days of the station. In addition to his having his own internet radio station, most recently, he was doing a morning show for a radio station in Georgia. Dave had such a larger then life presence with his voice on the radio. Andy was working with him to bring him back to to Deep Oldies. Dave, REST IN PEACE, all of us here at the Deep Oldies studio will miss you dearly…

Just wanted to mention … man, he really did resemble a landshark!! Love you, David. Loved everything you did for DO and RFP and beyond!! Will see you soon again in the afterlife, am sure!!!
