- [Rest In Peace Art Laboe - 1925 to 2022](https://deepoldies.com/2022/10/11/rest-in-peace-art-laboe-1925-to-2022/): Legendary DJ, songerwrite and radio station owner Art Laboe passed away on Oct 7th, 2022. He was 97 years old. He made his radio debut in the 1940s and was active as a DJ until his passing. He was a long time of the air staff at Los Angeles AM radio on KRLA from the late 1950s until the mid 1990’s.
