Andy Olson is a longtime Phoenix, AZ, DJ that started Radio Free Phoenix in August, 2004. Radio Free Phoenix is a throwback to the free form style of early FM radio that once peppered the airwaves. RFP returns to the heart, soul and passion that these great underground rock stations had. RFP plays Rock, Folk, Blues, Psychedelic, New Wave, Americana, Progressive, 60’s, 70’s,80’s, 90’s and new music too. But there was still something missing — and that was all the Oldies that have disappeared from the radio. Those great 50’s, 60’s and 70’s songs that you grew up with that are no longer played nor heard. Deep Oldies went on the net on January 18th, 2010 to play these songs along with several DJ’s from Radio Free Phoenix. (Angela Allen & Charmi O’Connor)
